What happened to the chainsaw?Look here!

17-4-2018

Chainsaws, short for “gas chain saws” or “gasoline power saws”, are generally used for operations such as forest harvesting, building materials, and branching, as well as timber storage yard construction and so on. Its sawing mechanism is a chain,and the power part is a gasoline engine, which is easy to carry and easy to operate. However, maintenance and repair are more complex. We all know that the long-term use of oil saw or maintenance is not in place, can not avoid the failure. What are the causes of the common failure of the chain saw?

As follows:

1. Why the chain saw is difficult to start (it cannot start at room temperature)?

a. Check whether the spark plug is serious carbon deposition and ignition (contact cylinder pull starter to see if there is a spark);

b. Check whether there is surplus oil in the cylinder (flooding cylinder);

c. confirm the cylinder pressure;

d. re-adjust the L, H screws of carburetor;

e Check that the tubing is in place (the needle is turned clockwise to the end and returned (counterclockwise) 1 to 1.5 turns).

2. Why starter can not pull?

a. Check whether the starter is damaged or not;

b. Check whether there is adsorbent on the flywheel;

c. Whether the flywheel and the cylinder have friction.

3. Why the chain is too loose when used?

a. Check whether the saw chain is installed in the sprocket;

b. chain installation standard, hand saw chain, the distance between the center guide tip and the guide plate is 5-6mm;

c. Relax the right side cover and lock nut, adjust the screw, adjust the saw chain to the appropriate level, and lock the right side cover;

d. Remove one link properly.

4. Why there is abnormal sound during use?

a. Check whether there is foreign matter in the silencer and whether the silencer screws are loose;

b. Whether the cover and the flywheel interfere with each other, and whether the flywheel has absorbed foreign matter;

c. Is the spark plug loose?

d. Is the clutch disengaged and the crank pin broken?

e. Whether the guide bar, saw chain is too loose;

f. Whether the screw is too loose.

6. Why is it not sharp when cut trees?

a. Adjust the carburetor H screw;

b. Check the attrition rate of cylinder and piston.
